Twitter has added a new trending topic functionality, this time with a local tilt. On the right side of your Twitter home page, you will see a notification of trending topics that you can change (at right). Click the arrow and then choose a region. Then you will see topics and hashtag keywords and phrases that are currently popular in that region...
